June is more than just another month on the calendar. It’s a time to come together, celebrate, and make a difference in our communities. This June, join the NAR in commemorating National Homeownership Month, a time when we recognize the importance of owning a home and the role it plays in the American dream.
The National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) is calling on its members and communities nationwide to unite for a common cause: raising $1 million for the REALTORS® Relief Foundation (RRF). The Realtor Relief Fund is to help people who have lost their homes due to disasters such as tornados or floods. It was started after 9/11 to help people who were struggling. What’s remarkable is that 100% of the funds donated to RRF go directly to disaster relief efforts, ensuring that every dollar makes a tangible impact where it’s needed most.
But they can’t do it alone. Whether you’re a REALTOR® or a member of the community, there are plenty of ways to get involved. You can register to walk, run, roll, or even embark on a creative endeavor throughout June. Every step you take and every effort you make contributes to the collective mission of providing housing-related assistance to those who need it most.
